Permit filings submitted to Denver show a 2,300-square-foot commercial kitchen with multiple freezers and refrigerators. There\u2019s an area for \u201cshipping\/staging,\u201d a classroom and a production kitchen in addition to a traditional retail section.<\/p>\n<p>The large kitchen will have windows facing the 16th Street mall, where those passing by will be able to watch ice cream and cones being made. A single scoop costs $6, and a typical sundae costs between $8 and $11. It offers catering services and also sells its ice cream by the pint or in a cake.<\/p>\n<p>Sundae\u2019s space was previously home to Cook\u2019s Fresh Market, a market for produce and meat along with a full deli that has been closed for years.<\/p>\n<p>The 31-story 1600 Glenarm Place building was converted from office space to residences in 2006 and has 30,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space.
