Francois Safieddine is reigniting his grill.

The restaurateur is moving forward with plans to open a steakhouse called Noble at 1525 Blake St., the 12,500-square-foot building he had tried to sell for $7 million.

Katie Chapman, a spokeswoman for Safieddine’s restaurant group Lotus Concepts Management, said the spot will tentatively make its debut within the next six months. She did not comment on why a transaction didn’t transpire for the two-story, red brick building.

Safieddine’s firm is known for the local My Neighbor Felix and ViewHouse chains and also behind the recently opened country bar Belles & Boots at the former Sports Column. Chapman said Noble will differ from the company’s five existing Centennial State concepts.

“It’s more elevated and upscale than anything that we’ve done at this point,” she told BusinessDen. “We’re looking to redefine the fine-dining experience.”

Though Noble’s menu is still being developed, Chapman said it will feature the typical cuts of meat alongside seafood. The spot, which was home to the Mexican restaurant Rio Grande between 1999 and 2022, is also getting a facelift, both inside and out.

“This is not your classic white tablecloth steakhouse,” Chapman said.
